Question for Tikiman or other Poly Expert

We will be arriving at the Poly on 12/1 for the land portion of our Land/Cruise package. Do you know if they put all the cruise people in the same area of the hotel, or if we would able to request a certain location? There are 9 of us in my party - 3 rooms booked. Any info greatly appreciated!!!

I am told they do usually assign the cruisers to a specific location (I was told Tokelau) but I know of some that have stayed in other longhouses and submitted requests.

Thanks for responding so quickly! Do you know if any rooms in that building are smoking rooms? If not, is smoking allowed on the balconies or patios or which building/s should we request? Thanks again!

The only smoking rooms on property are all of Niue, the 3rd floor of Tuvalu, The 3rd floor of Hawaii (concierge only) and half the second floor of Tahiti. There are rare events where they let you smoke in a non-smoking room if there are no more available but there is some controversy about that. Also some are told that they can smoke on the balcony or patio of a non-smoking room but I do not know if that is official policy or just what the CM at the time told someone.

By requesting a smoking room might put you in another location.
