Does Palo give bread with dinner? We went to Palo last week on the fantasy and didn’t get bread with dinner. I swear I watched many recent YouTube reviews of dinner from this year and they had bread.

They usually do; unusual that you didn't get it
Doesn’t surprise me one bit. We had a terrible server. We went to brunch the same day, and he was terrible didn’t bring items we ordered, would go missing for 20 minutes plus didn’t have any other tables just didn’t care, and of course they gave us him for dinner. Just as terrible even worse for dinner.

Did you speak to a manager? If you had terrible service at brunch and then the same server at dinner why didn't you speak up? You can kindly say when checking in "we didn't feel the service was sufficient at brunch and would like someone else, please" even if you didn't say anything at brunch

This. The only way management will know is if people speak up about it. When people don't say anything, they have no way of knowing. Yes, they watch, but without you saying either after brunch or at check-in for dinner that you felt the service was insufficient, the manager might have assumed you asked to be left alone as some people do.

ETA: Also, brunch and dinner on the same day?? WOW! That is a LOT of food!!

Just had dinner at Palo on Thursday night, and yes they brought bread to the table.

Unfortunately we couldn’t change brunch and only wanted to miss a certain menu luckily we had a lot of time in between.

We didn’t speak with someone as we didn’t know he was going to be our server until we sat down that would of been very strange to ask then.

Curious whether chatting with Guest Services would do the trick in this case, like “sorry this is kind of last minute, we had a brunch at Palo and we didn't connect with our waiter, now we're back for dinner and we've been given the same staff”

Guest services at times takes over 30-45 minutes to connect with them. One night we were 1 in the waiting list and it took 45 minutes evening being 1 waiting.

Though we didn’t enjoy the service at brunch I still tipped well. Maybe I shouldn’t have as with brunch it’s not automatically added but I always tip well as I know servers everywhere live on those.

They will usually keep you with the same Palo server each cruise (kind of like the dinning rooms) assuming that the servers there will also begin to know your preferences. In the future if you are going to Palo twice in a cruise know that you will most likely get the same server and if you don't have a good experience the first time let a manager know.

Regardless of knowing or not, you're not helping anyone by not speaking to a manager after the first bad experience.

Yes we were given bread at palo dinner 4/16 fantasy sailing and I was even given special GF bread. Our server was fantastic and she has been working at palo for 10 years on the various ships and was chosen to move over to the wish.
