If I have earned rewards but don't have time to physically request one by mail before my trip, is it possible to get them on a card once in Disney? If so, how and where? Thanks!:thumbsup2

I did this back in April....I went to guest services in MK and they gave me a packet with a redemption card and a 1-800 # to call and have the points transferred and once I did this, it was immediately available for use! I actually did this and then my daughter did BBB and that is how I paid for it!

so if I have, say 100 rewards showing on my statement, all I need to do is go to Guest Services, request a card, call the 800 number and the points are there? Thanks!

Yes, that's correct. I did this at DHS in February. I went to GS & got the card...sat down on a bench outside & called the number & my pooints were there. You can also do this at DTD, I have gotten my card there 2 times in the past. :goodvibes

Just so you all know I did this as well back in May. Now I do not know how many points each of you has but you need I believe it was at least 20 or 30 to put points onto a new rewards card.

I have read on a tread recently that someone had been adding a few rewards to there card each day. I think they had like thousands. And would go to Guest services at each park each day and have some put on a card. (which I didn't understand why they didn't do the whole amount at once)...but anyways she said she was denied on the 3rd and told they no longer are allowed to do it.
I'm not sure if that is true or not, because the whole story sounded weird to me, but I just wanted to bring it up in case that is true.

Thousands? You get 1 reward for every $100 you spend. Sounds strange! Anyway, from what I have read on here, it should be no problem to go to Guest Services and get my rewards.

If I find the thread I'll post it. I don't remember how man yshe had, but it was alot. But I thought it was weird that they just didn't add it all at once. I do know people save for years, and put everything on the card, so it could be possible to have alot, but somehting wasn't sitting right with me there. I'll see if I can find the thread.

That doesn't make sense. You can NOT add point to the card at guest relations. You just pick up a card at guest relations then you have to call to transfer the points.

Maybe they kept asking for new cards. You don't have to do that. You can keep adding points to a card until it expires. They expire 12/31. I think if you got one today it would expire 12/31/11.

My friend had over $900 on one trip. She had just built a house and charged everything she could. We had a room only reservation so she just paid off the room with it.

Ok . I'm not sure exactly how it works, as I just recnetly got the Visa, but I know she said she went somewhere (I think Guest services) and they were adding them on each day. So technically she was supposed to just get a gift card from Guest services and call the DV number and the ywould add them to the card (I assume by giving them the number on the card?)

OP looks like your trilp is over a month away. I think that is plenty of time. Mine have always arrived from Chase within a couple of weeks. Worth the call if you haven't already done so. If you earn more points between now and then you can always have them transferred to your card before you go.
