Question for those waiting on October Hours

Do more of you go ahead and make touring plans and AR's before the hours come out, figuring you'll try and change them later if need be? Or do more of you wait for the hours and then make AR's running the risk of ideal places or times being taken? I'm having a hard time deciding what to do.

I made AR's but not touring plans because it's just DH and I and we will be hopping.

Definitely make the ARs and have a pretty good idea of what we're going to do based on past hours and when I think they'll do parades, fireworks, etc. This new EMH has thrown a kink in this trip because with MNSSHP in October, EMH could really be thrown off. But I'm just crossing my fingers that I guessed correctly.

I'm waiting on the hours to come out before making any ADR's. I just don't want the hassle of having to change them, since many of our ADR's might well depend on the October park hours and EMH hours.

Free dining package or not, I'm really not that worried about all ADR's being taken up in October. It's just not as busy a time of year as other times are, even with the free dining package.

Already made all my ADR's but I may tweak them once I see the hours. Mostly concerned with eating too late at Epcot and being stuck in a restaurant during Illuminations.

I made all my ar's & have a very basic plan. I waiting to see if the water parks will be open & if the Spectromagic parade will be shown during any week nights. I also want to find out when the early extra magic hours will be. I don't know if those hours change in the fall! Happy planning!

I wouldn't be too sure about October not being too busy Grimley1968. I called about a month ago to make ADR for Liberty Tree Tavern for Oct. 2 and was told they are all booked up. As is Cinderella's Royal Table and Crystal Palace. And thats the begining of the month!
I suggest making as many ADR's as you can and then tweak them once the hours come out like can'twait said . That way, if there is a specific restaurant you really want than you can get in.

That's what I'm planning to do for my Thanksgiving week trip....go ahead and make ADR's and make a change if needed.

If you need ADRs for MK on a MNSSHP day you should be making them now - that is probably why you weren't able to get LTT Buzzfanmom.

I make my AR's and know what parks I am going to be in on what days before the hours even come out. It doesn't matter to me what hours are usually as most of our AR's are lunch time.
