Question for those traveling late May thru mid-June

Just trying to decide what nights we will do HS. If there are no fireworks we will go once and do Fantasmic. If the fireworks are going we will go two times maybe three. I currently have ADR's at DTD and MK. Not sure I want to ditch those for HS restaurants.

And not to be critical but surely a seasoned expert like yourself understands everyone's plans are different and based on the unique likes and priorities of each visitor/family. Nighttime shows are the #1 priority of my family. So not knowing if ROL and Star Wars fireworks are going during our timeframe is an issue.

Not a deal breaker but we're anxious to know.

Has the uncertainty of the ROL and Star Wars fireworks been driven by fan speculation, anticipating and expecting an opening date, versus WDW officially announcing a date then backing away from publicly?

We will be there 5/25 - 6/1, and the only thing that had me thinking about moving my dates back slightly was the room rate at Poly was almost $50 per night cheaper from 6/1 - 6/6 :rotfl:

In all honesty, the only difference for this trip for me, is checking the boards and Parks Blog for word on RoL & FEA opening dates. It's not going to make or break my trip, but if we are going to have the chance to get a FP, I want to at least know about it to make the attempt.

If they open FEA on Memorial Day weekend, the last weekend of an extended Flower & Garden festival... I think I might just move my Epcot days to AVOID it!

ROL was officially announced as 4/22. Disney put out a blog post last week that said its officially delayed.

No official announcement as far as I know.
so how are you missing or planning for something that has never been announced? I am visiting in early June (for a trip I booked months ago), why would I bother planning for Soarin reopening or new Frozen ride when I have no information, beyond pure speculation from fans, as to when they may be open?

Let me open by saying I understand something will always be "coming soon" or under refurbishment at WDW and I never make travel plans expecting a new attraction to be open. We presently have plans for early June but I am considering delaying this trip and want to know how others feel.

Given early June was about 6 weeks past announced Rivers of LOLight opening, I was excited that this would be available for our trip. But with uncertainties (again, I wasn't expecting any of these to be open) of FEA, Soarin' and the new Star Wars fireworks, our vacation feels devalued.
You're not missing anything if you pass soarin. It's sad.

Um...hello?? I'm not the OP. I was just answering your question. Pay attention! Smh.
