Somehow I have been elected to arrange my aunt and niece's flight, though I am not flying with them and am leaving the day before. My aunt does not want to drive to the airport. Can anyone recommend a car service? I've contacted a few, but their prices are crazy!! Also I've never purchased tickets for someone else. Since I paid with my credit card, will they need that card to scan at the kiosk? And one final question: I will be driving down with my youngest so I will not be able to do online check at Southwest's website for them (my aunt wants nothing to do with the process). Will this be okay? I really hate making arrangements for someone else.

I believe they can checkin if they have a printout of their eTicket and a government issued ID that matches the name on the ticket.

With Southwest , it is best to check in 24 hours before the departure time. This will allow you to board earlier and be able to select a good seat .

You can pay a little extra on the southwest website to get an automatic check in at 24 hours. I would recommend this for them as they sound a little bit techophobic

I agree with the automated check in. It's $12.50 per person, but totally worth it. As far as the car service where is she coming from?

Thanks I'm going to add the automated check-in. They are coming from a town on the border of NY and Mass, Basically 5 minutes away from I-90 / Mass Turnpike.

My uncle has a car service, but we are down in Fairfield county. It would probably be cost prohibitive for her to use him! Have you tried CT Limo? I don't know if they work in that area. That's the only suggestion I have. But the auto check in is great. I did it in May. I didn't even have to print out my boarding pass. She can get that at the Skycap.
