Disney Owl I think you may have been quoted a wrong price for pool heat. Usually it is $25.00 or 13.70 GBP per day. You might want to check that seems like a 2 week stay to me. I am also a home owner so I have experience on the subject. That sounds like it might be a misprint

One other thing to consider, despite absolutely everyone saying pool heat in August is not needed, we have pool heat as it heats up the jacuzzi next to the pool. No pool heat, no heated jacuzzi (just bubbling water!).
Don't know whether that's typical of many pools/jacuzzis though, but it is for the one we've rented in recent years.

Yes,this is true,
If attached jetted spa,it wont heat up without heating.The problem with this is the price for heating it is the same!!

Maybe it is just us but we always have pool heat. We like our pool in the low-mid 90s range.
