I am thinking of going to Vegas for 4th of July. Are there fireworks on the strip? If not could you recomend where to go to see some.

Thanks. :goodvibes

they do fireworks at some casinos I want to say the stratospher does for sure and at many parks and "local" casinos such as the fiesta.

some casinos do them, not any on the strip that I know of. I know the redrock (a local casino) does. I used to recommend red white and boom, but I don't think there doing it any more so the best Id say is go to the red rock.

Thank you everyone, for your replies. I will go to Red rock, as I have always wanted to see inside it. :thumbsup2

I work at Red Rock and I have to say, our fireworks were awsome last year! Unfortunetly, with the economy being how it is, I expect they will really scale down the fireworks display this year.

Caesars Palace did them last summer. We watched them from the Rio parking lot and they were quite spectacular. :thumbsup2

As it gets closer, check the Review Journal website for more info on the hotels shooting them off.

Yes, we have fireworks. I live in the southeastern part of the valley up in the foothills and we can usually see about 10-15 separate fireworks displays on both New Year's and 4th of July.

We typically do not fight the crazy crowds downtown because we have one of the highest attended shows (by locals) in our backyard at Anthem.

Something to consider, I do not know how economic downturns are going to effect the holidays this year. I would do some research before flying here and then being disappointed.

If you want fun and can stand the summer heat (Think about it, SERIOUSLY. It is 100 degreess plus AT NIGHT sometimes) come to Vegas. We've never been disappointed.
