Question for the other exchange organizers

If you have someone who signed up to participate in one of your exchanges and they haven't picked up their address, at what point would you try to find an elf? I have three more days until the send out date and hope that this one person is able to make it, but I was just wondering how you all handle it. I want the children that are suppost to recieve the books, to get it on time.
I have also sent numerous pms but that person has not picked it up. If you are that person please check your pm box and sent them out by Wednesday-thanks.

That is one of the down sides to running exchanges I'm afraid.

Give it till the mail out deadline & see what happens. Do you have an e-mail for that particular person? If not, have you tried e-mailing them through the boards?

e-mail if you have it (that's why I always ask for one).
People tend to check e-mail more than PMs.

A couple of days after mail by date, if they haven't picked up the name, I would move on.
I have the same problem in the "L" exchange
It does get frustrating......but for the most part everyone is great!! And the exchanges are so much fun!

Unfortunatly, I don't have her email address. I guess I will wait for the mail out date and hope that everything goes well. Thanks for the input.

Let me know if they don't pick it up by the send out date and I will pick one up and send it out to them!
