Question for the MK holders or those in the know

So we're going to be coming to DL for a few days and are MK holders, but the days we're coming we're blocked out with our passes, so we have to buy regular tickets. I'm wondering if my MK discount on food, merchandise, and Genie+ will still work though? Anyone know?

It looks like we still got MK discount on mobile orders last year during Memorial Day weekend when we used regular tix because our MKs were blocked. (Based on e-mail receipts)

In December, they made it clear that MK holders did not receive parking discounts on their blacked out days. I'm not sure if it was enforced or not.

Oh really? Hmm, I wonder if that means no then to the other stuff as well? We won't be using parking, but it would be nice to get the small discount still on food, merchandise and Genie +.

We have inspire MKs. We purchased tickets and attended NYE this past year. Free parking and discounts remained in place. I do not know if those MK benefits are independent of blackout dates for if it required the regular tickets/reservations linked to our MK accounts that we had made for that day. It clearly appeared that black-out restrictions only apply to park reservations - not to other benefits provided by MKs on those days.

I have Inspire and was at Downtown Disney on Christmas. (Not in the parks.) My key wasn't even active yet AND it was a blackout day, but I was still able to mobile order from Marceline's and was able to do mobile check-out in World of Disney and get my discount. I was told if it had been active, I would have been able to scan it at the register as well.

Same here. We were there the week of NYE and they granted the parking perk every days. It required a manual override as one of the parking agents asked another how to do the override. It was a nice surprise. And yes. We got all of our MK discounts.
