Question for the ladies...

My friend refuses to wear halter tops because she says her ****s are too big and they stand out worse in a halter top.

This reminds me of a phrase that a friend and I use CONSTANTLY when we're talking about clothes...

"Just because you CAN...doesn't mean you SHOULD!" :)
That reminds me of one of my favorites too "Know your limits" My husband and I are always seeing people and saying "KYL"

For the record, I'M not looking to wear a halter top, I know my limits and that would be obscene. Unattractive wouldn't do that vision justice. I'm just wondering out loud how some people with large chests wear some of the clothing they wear...
I don't even wear tanktops..I'm a teeshirt gal all the way.

There is a place you can order them. It is more expensive but as an above poster mentioned, it is a built in UNDERWIRE bra. www.biggerbras.com go there and you will order it based on your bra size. I have a camio and a halter and I love them. I think they are very well made.

Dare to bear halter top is what it is called.

Don't they have those cups that you just sort of stick on? I dunno. I have a friend with VERY LARGE girls and she's about a size 2, so she dresses really hootchie. I don't think she wears a bra.

I dont wear one. I dont wear anything tight or revealing. Im too self conscious about my big chest to wear things like that. I prefer a big t-shirt to a halter top anyday ;)

I am a firm believer in built in bras. You know, the tank tops that their is a sports bra type thing built inside. Not super lots of support, but it does the job nicely.

unless you are on the small side...then they just flatten you out to nothing.

:)

I have almost NO chest and the built-in-bra tanks are HELL for my ****s. haha They give me the ever so lovely pancake breast look.

As a 38DD I can't wear anything without straps (and I don't prefer sleeveless)

I am a firm believer that some people shouldn't wear some clothing. Like someone else said..just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I personally think it should be illegal to manufacture 2 piece bathing suits in a size above a 14. (I would also add to that list whoever created thong maxipads should be taken out and shot.)

dunno, the tankinis are great. I wear a 16 right now, and it covers everything nicely, but I don't have to do the contortionist thing to try and get a wet suit back on!

At 38 DD and shall we say "over 50", there is no way I would wear a halter top for BOTH of those reasons!

Thats what im saying!! If you are on the rag, just skip the thong. Boo hoo. If you need one, pick an outfit that doesnt require one, yes require.

40DD here and I would never consider a halter, I just wouldn't be flattering on me as someone said upthread - halters don't look good on large busted women. If you can get the visual, think of "pre Trimspa" Anne Nicole Smith..

I don't wear halter tops for that reason. I have yet to find good underwear that "works" with a halter top.

why don't you throw caution to the wind and get a tube top? :flower:
:goodvibes I couldn't get away with one of those!
