So, this will be our first trip to our new Home, AKV, in September (24 days from today!). I have received our ME packet. My question is, do we get anything else? Of course, I got the Confirmation letter when we made the reservation, back in April. I just wasn't sure if any other kind of paperwork or vouchers or letters come for the stay. TIA!
:thumbsup2

That sounds about right. I kind of felt empty handed that first time around without the bill to pay too :rotfl: I got over that feeling fast. ;)

Ha, I know what you mean!
:cool1:

I just saw in some other posts that people were getting vouchers, and I am assuming they are cash customers, and DVC didn't get anything else, but didn't want to get there and be asked 'Well, where are you such and such papers?', you know?

Thanks for the response!

That's all there is. Just the reservation confirmation letter.

Don't forget your membership card though some resorts require you to show that for free valet parking.

Thanks. I always have that with me ;), but we are flying in, using ME to get to AKV.

Another newbie with a question--are you still able to charge things to your room's keycard? When you said no bill to pay it made me wonder. We have always charged items to the room versus using separate credit cards. It's nice to have all of our charges on one bill. Thanks for your help.

For my last couple of trips, about two weeks prior to my vacay, I received a packet with a list of perks and tips for my upcoming stay. Not needed for check-in but a nice touch. Don't forget to try online check-in too. I'll have my first experience next month since it wasn't available for my May reservation.

Yes you can. You just have to assign a card at check-in. Too bad they still don't have a way to assign multiple cards per reservation:mad:

Enjoy your trip!!

Yes that would be a nice touch. I know it's possible because on cruise ships you can have separate bills for each keycard. :confused3 So why can't/won't DVC do it? Too expensive, time consuming?

It's hard to say why multiple cards aren't allowed. I didn't know they did it on the Cruises. Maybe they are afraid it would slow things down too much?:confused3

You can pay with different cards when you check out, no separate bull though.

Isn't that pretty time consuming, or are all of the charges listed by keycard?

Does anyone know how the charges are listed on checkout, by date only or by date and keycard as well?

I'd sure appreciate an answer to my question above. Thank you.
