I am making pumpkin pie to take to DH's parents' house tomorrow. The canned pumpkin recipe makes two pies.
I am hosting my family on Sunday.
Does anyone know if I can refrigerate the filling for the second pie and bake it on Saturday or Sunday?

I don't want to bake a pie today that won't get served until Sunday. What do you think?
 
i dont see why not,its only a day, just keep it covered.
 
Cover tightly, refrigerate and it will be fine for a couple/three days..:goodvibes
