Question for snow birds

My mother and father are planning to spend the winter in florida in a few years when my mother retires and were wondering what people that spend the winter at the fort, spend to do this and how long they are there for that price? thanks to anyone that is in the know.

I'd guess there are a couple hundred snowbirds at the fort. Some arrive in October and stay till April. I'd guess most arrive around the first of the year and stay till sometime in March. As far as price....its the same as everyone else pays. Daily rate x however many days. There are a few AAA & AP discounts but they are rare for the campground that time of year.

Also, if they are staying longer than 30 nights, they will have to make several consecutive reservations, as the max reservation is 30 nights.
