Question for shirt makers.

I was wondering if putting a dark background of a DIS design on a black tshirt will come out fine ... or is it better to put dark background on a white shirt and vica versa ..

I am a visual person, so here is an example of what I was meaning:

Say I was using this design on a white shirt ..

See the 2-0 is white? .. will that blend into the white shirt or is it better on a black shirt? Or am I worrying for nothing?

Here is another question:

Say this design:

Would this look overall better on a black shirt or stand out better on a white shirt? I also plan to put a "name" on the left top of the shirt and the same would apply with the color (just sharing what I plan on doing)

I hope you get what I am saying as I don't have much experience with this .. I deal with graphics .. just not making t-shirts

Black and white are your only choices? Personally I would use a bright yellow shirt for either DISign but especially the first one.

Well, in that case, I think I would put the white design on a black shirt and the black design on a white shirt because the black paper won't match the white shirt and same with the black.
