I was looking at the "unofficial Guide to WDW" and on its Crowd-Level Calender it showed a significant increase in crowds for the week of Sept22-28. Does anyone know why this is? Thanks.
I read someone else say that they slightly changed there system so that a 4 means a 40 minute wait, a 5 means a 50 minute wait for the longest waits in line at the busiest times of day.
I have exactly the same query as I am going late sept/early oct. From September 2-21 it has a '2' for crowd level then strangely from 22-28 it goes up to an '8' then back to '2' again.

If you're getting that from the Unofficial guide itself, they have already said that was a misprint in one of the updated editions. The most up to date ratings (using the newer rating system as described in a previous post) can be found at this link....
I believe that the author of the book posted that the reason the numbers changed so dramatically is that it is based on the main rides and how much the crowd level would be for thes particular rides. That's kind of what I got out of it.
Regardless of the rating site I do know that there is a National Softball Tournament going on at WWS. I don't think it will affect the crowds much, though.
