I have been on two 7 day cruises and a 4 day a couple of years ago, but I am now about to sail on a 3 day Wonder cruise. I am interested to find out just how casual or not, the dress code is on the 3 nite cruise from recent cruisers.

Are shorts ever worn in the dining rooms at dinner? Is Triton's a shirt and tie dinner, or are casual slacks and shirt ok? I have heard that dress code has been somewhat relaxed of late. Any feedback will be appreciated, ty!!

Our last three day was in April, and we even saw jeans in Palo!!! Hubby still wears a jacket and tie in Triton's, but he is definitely in the minority. Seems to get a little more casual every time we go.

That's interesting, Barb. I am just back from April 3 day cruise.. and all of us felt underdressed. In fact, we were talking with other cruisers, and they said the same thing. People looked very very dressed up in Tritons. We were told it was more casual than it was. Next time, we'll go prepared for more dressing up.

We're just back from our first (but definately not the last) 3 day wonder 5-16. I'd say that there was mixed attire at all restaraunts. My husband wore a suit and tie and I a nice dress at Tritons, while there were people in shorts and polo right next to us! Not to mention he wore the same outfit all 3 nights! Overall I'd say business casual was what most wore. But for those of us that did dress, it was a jacket for men and dress or pantsuit for ladies. Hope this helps!

Our last cruise was a while ago(10/00) but we saw some people dressed semi formally, and some just casual.
On our upcoming cruise we plan to dress up(suit/nice-semiformal dress) for Tritons and Palos. For us part of the fun of cruising is the chance to get all decked out and be treated like royalty. Somehow, going to a fancy restuarant in shorts and a tshirt wouldnt have the same feeling for me. I know we may be overdressed, but we plan to go for it.
I think you should wear what you want, as long as its in the DCL guidelines. ;)
