Question for others who booked CP Dinner today.

I love my DH but....

He was so wonderful this AM. I had a meeting at work, so he lovingly got on the line and stayed on hold so I could go to work. This is a big deal because he is a reluctant DIS Spouse.


So when I got home tonight I asked him

"What's the procedure this year? Do we get out CP stickers at the restaurant, or do we have to pick up a packet ahead of time?"

Blank Stare

"Did they say anything about how we get our credentials?"

Blank stare

I immediately got online to confirm that he HAD in fact book CP, and not just a regular reservation. He did. He booked the right package. He just blanked out about the credentials part.

So my DISfriends, what did the CM on the phone say about our credentials?

They are given out at after dinner at the restaurant along with the passes for the Illumination VIP viewing area

I had to laugh... I booked our ressies and didn't even know that! I didn't ask...

Then I can only assume that Kathy is right and they will be given at the restaurant at the end of the meal, like it has been for the last 2 years.

In years past (more than 2 yrs ago) you had to pick them up at guest services or Lobby Concierge before going to the restaurant. I would think that if this were the case, the CM's would be telling people when making the reservation this as part of their script.

The cast member I talked to read the entire spiel before I even gave her the date/time/restaurant I wanted. I was like 'hurry up hurry up" - I just wanted to ensure I got my date & restaurant.

People at work were laughing at me because I'm not the most patient person and I was doing a lot of hand gesturing as she was reading the spiel

Use to be a badge, I still have mine from a couple of years ago...but lately its been a sticker.

This poor guy...It reminds me of when I feel so proud because I did 4 loads of laundry for my wife one day and I get yelled at because I used warm water instead of cold!

I gotta remind my wife that guys don't think about water temperature or even grouping cloths together, it's all dirty cloths to us!

Anyone know where the VIP viewing is? We will be going on the 28th and I'm wondering if I need to get to the area early to stake out a spot.
