DD and I are just back from a great week in a standard studio at the BWV. Despite a full house, we had great service from the cast members and enjoyed all the holiday decorations.

My DD was looking for the Juggler on the Boardwalk that we had watched last visit. We didn't see him all week. Does anyone know if he is still around? Come to think of it, we didn't see nearly as many Boardwalk strolling entertainers as we had the last Holiday trip in 2002. Also missed the Cowgirl and her rope tricks. Maybe a sign of cutbacks but hopefully just bad timing on our part

Oops! Almost forgot to mention our great magical moment while standing in line for the Candlelight Processional. An off-duty CM came up to us and said she had two extra tickets for the front row seats. Her other CM friends couldn't make it that evening and she offered them to us. We were thrilled and enjoyed listening to David Ogden Stiers from the front row!

I saw the cowgirl and her rope tricks on Thursday night (12/18) as I was taking stuff to our van. She was in the lobby of the BW right next to the chocolate BW scene.

Other than her, we didn't see many other BW "strollers" wandering around while we were there (12/13-12/19).

I've always wondered about the juggler. I am not sure if we are talking about the same guy, though. There was one that was always at BWV as you pulled up to valet. He was the nicest guy. He claimed that he worked for many years at a funeral home and needed a change of pace. In the evening, we would see him in a different outfit (not BWV uniform) on the Boardwalk. I bet it has been at least 2 years since we have seen him there. We did see one juggler there last year but it was a different guy. This year we didn't see anyone juggling.

When I was there 2 1/2 weeks ago, I saw the juggler. Know where? In the BWV lobby! I heard one of the Entertainers tell another guest that if it's below a certain temp out (50 degrees?), which it was that night, they don't have to be outside. He was very entertaining-kept joking about breaking decorations in the hanging garland. So if it's cold-look for him in the lobby.
Must have been about the same time-I saw David Ogden Stiers also.

The juggler is The Amazing Carlo. And if they have gotten rid of Carlo I have a 6 (will be 7 on the next trip home) year old DS that will be very unhappy. We always watched him perform on the BW and even have pictures and video of him at DS request.

CAN YOU POST ANY PHOTOS

Randy is another juggler who performs on the boardwalk. Randy is also excellent.
You can get a the entertainment times/acts from guest relations in the BWV lobby.

We saw Randy several times on our trip the 5th through the 14th. He was so amazing, and completely hilarious!!!!!!!! I do have some pics of him, but I don't know how to post them. I can e-mail them if you want. He and the cowgirl were in the lobby one night on our trip, then we saw Randy two or three nights out on the Boardwalk as well. He was our favorite.

Sorry! Carlo is the performer that swallows the sword and balances the golf clubs.

I think Randy is the Juggler that is in our 2002-2003 vacation planner book. He had told us previously that hs is an ex soccer player. Sorry we missed him this trip!

Thanks for the tip to get the entertainment schedule from the Boardwalk guest relations desk. I'll remember for next time!
