Question for other new DVC owners

I got a packet from Disney today with the 2006-2007 Planner, New Member Handbook, and a Calendar thing. No Membership card or PIN number (but I already called today for that information). Just curious if that is what other people who just recently closed on their purchases received and will I still be getting the 2007-2008 Planner? Seems sort of silly to send out the 2006-2007 with only 3 months left to go in 2006.

We are also new members and we got exactly the same package as you. It came a day or two after we got in the system (last week). Today we got our membership cards (one week after getting in the system). I am expecting the PIN and the 2007-2008 planner to follow fairly soon. I'll probably call if I don't get the PIN within another week or so.

Edited -- We bought directly through Disney so I think our welcome kit is a little different than that of the resales. However, our planner is the 2006-2007 as well.

I also just got in the system on Sept. 26th. I received a 2006-2007 planner also. I have been reading all the post about the 2007-2008 planner and want one too. I wish someone else that closed recently would post that they received one. Has anyone called to ask if they would receive one? Or are we left out since we are new? Please say that we'll get one also!

We just received the 06-07 planner a few days ago. Called to get pin numbers and such, but have not received any membership cards yet.

I got my membership card before I anything.
I had to call and ask for the member books, I don't know why it took so long to get the books. They were 2006-2007 when they came.

A couple of weeks ago I received the same things that you did. I have still not received my membership card or pin number ( am anxiously awaiting ).
I hope we will receive the 2007-2008 planner and the "surprise" as well. I will be checking the mail daily.

another poster here waiting for the 2007-2008 planner and surprise. I got the other planner and all of the info over a month ago. Got my pin numbers three to four weeks ago. Just got our permanent membership cards two days ago.

Soooooooo....waiting, not to patiently, for the new planner and surprise.
