Hi guys. We are moving to Kissimmee in August and we're getting married in Dec. this year. We had planned on honeymooning in one of the resorts and spending a few days in the parks. But now that we're moving to the area, it seems like a waste to stay in the parks... help... :)

Are u looking to stay somewhere else in the Orlando area?? I would suggest the Gaylord Palms Hotel. It is beautiful!!!!! We were thinking about getting married there but there ceremony location only holds 120. My FH and I have been dying to stay at this hotel since it was built.

Maybe you could do a Disney Cruise?

Oh, and definitely spend a night at the Gaylord Palms, even if it's not for your honeymoon. Their resorts are beautiful!

Oh, yes, the Gaylord Palms is fabulous ::yes:: That would be a wonderful place to spend a few honeymoon nights. Before we got married I lived in Orlando and we went over there just for the day, to walk around and see the resort, it was so romantic! We went for the ICE show in December, too and it was just beautiful the way they had it decorated for the holidays. It's a definite "must see" in Orlando!

I think we might either just stay a couple of nights in the POFQ or not honerymoon at all. I will hopefully have an interview at Sea World in July so I have a job in August when we move down there. My DF may have a job at the Lights, Motor Action stunt show, so for us, it will be coming up on the busy season for the parks and we will be required to work... perhaps we should just hold off for the honeymoon til the Spring or summer - when our daughter has no school and she can stay with his parents or go north and visit mine... hmmmmm..... :rolleyes2

Also, I checked on the Disney cruise and it doesn't leave until the 17th... that's the beginning of the peak season at the parks... argh... pirate:

What does it matter anyway? I'll be married to my Prince Charming. :goodvibes :bride:

The Gaylord Palms is a bit expensive for 2 nights...
