Hi all! We're currently looking at staying off-site for part of a trip next June. I've been checking several sites, and I must say, I've been very impressed with the accomodations available, both quality and quantity. There are almost too many choices! And the prices are great, as well.
So, here's my question: Is anyone concerned about putting a deposit on a house that then gets put in foreclosure? Has this happened to anyone? MIght it make sense to go through an agency (All-star Homes, etc.), would that provide some protection form this? Normally I wouldn't be concerned, but you can't help but hear about foreclosures left and right on the news these days. I would hate to put down a deposit and then find out I was out the money and the rental and have to scramble. Or worse, show up and not have access to the home!
I would appreciate any input people have on this.
