I realize this has been covered before but I can't find it so here goes.
Say I purchase an initial 300 points at OKW , then purchase a contract at SSR for 150 points. If I wanted to use my points for a week stay in a GV at OKW , which would cost over 300 points, could I use the SSR points and transfer them into my OKW account to book at 11 months out, or would I have to borrow points from the next years allocation of OKW points? Also If i wanted to book a stay at any resort 7 months out and I had to use 350 points all together, would they come from both contracts or just one. I am trying to picture this in my mind so I can explain it to my DH.
I would love to own at least 150 points at each resort ideally, as I sit here dreaming, so I could have 11 month windows at all resorts if need be. Of course with 4 DD's and a DS I will need these points for large family vacations, not to mention honeymoons and grandkids.
We of coure will start out small and build on as money allows, and I know I should buy where I want to stay. But thats everywhere eventually.
Any help in explaining this point process will be appreciaited.
