Question for Ford Mustang owners

Glad to hear that, I haven't read anything on it yet...

It's funny, my dh subscribes to Motor Trend, and it seems about 9 of 12 covers each year either have a picture of it, or a comment about it. I used to bring it in from the mailbox and laugh, hey no pony on the cover this month. That seems to have finally died down a bit, but it still shows up pretty often.

DH has an '85, I had a '03 (the same color as in OP's picture) that I gave to DS19 for his first car at his request, then bought him his dream '05 Legend Lime convertible, and DD18 had an '03 convertible (she got caught going 85 in a 55 in this one!) that we traded for her '08 vista blue that was special ordered for her. We are truly a Mustang family!! We live in the south though so we don't have any of the ice/ snow that you would have to deal with but from experience, they are FUN!!! Very agile and the new ones are faster than the old ones... The only thing I can say that might be negative is it's harder to get a baby seat in one than in a small SUV. Not impossible 'cause we do it every day, but a little harder.

I saw a few pictures and some brief reviews from Mustang Mags (for the latest info on my beast), but haven't read any of the mainstream media stuff...

I'm always a month or two behind since my wife sends them from home and they don't get out here for a bit!

I just realized you are from South Jersey too. I have a 2001 Mustang Convertible. My car before this was also a Mustang. We rarely get ice and snow. I teach so when we do I'm usually home. In the six years that I've had stangs there have probably been a half dozen days I couldn't take the car. But I"m at the shore and it nearly always becomes rain. When you get used to driving a rear wheel drive car you get better at it. When the ground is a little wet I don't take off too quickly. The same thing with a light coating of snow. But if there is real snow or ice I have no traction and would not count on stopping.
