Question for experienced ME users?

We are getting ready to take a long weekend trip to OKW for DS's bday (14 days away). We have been planning on driving the whole time but my Step father is a retired pilot and i never even thought of using his buddy passes. Well my mom is going to check flights for us but then we would need to rent a car or get ME to OKW. If we do fly, it will be at the last minute. Can you just show up at ME and go to OKW or do you have to make ressies?? What is the latest you can make ressie for them?

I have called from the airport when DH didn't make the flight and the rental car was in his name, and he would need it when he did arrive at MCO. I think you do have to call ahead and can't just show up, but maybe I'm wrong.

You can't just show up as DME cannot accept walk up passengers, something with their contract with MCO. However you can call and make resservations the day before and I have even heard day of just call before you get on the plane. You would have to stop and check in and get a voucher at the DME desk but that wouldn't be a big thing. GL

As long as you make a ressie ahead of time you will be ok. last year on my split stay they sent me two vouchers. Thinking that they just doubled up I left one at home. When I got there I found that I needed it because I was leaving from a different DVC than I went to. They were able to print the voucher for me at the desk. With so little time left they may tell you when you call that they are going to do that anyway. Im sure they are prepared for last minute trips and ME ressies.
