Question for Experienced DDP users!!

Hi, all. We are heading down to the World in a few weeks. We are DVC (newly!!) members and will be staying at the Boardwalk the first two nights, and moving to the AKL. We purchased the dining plan for both stays.

My question is this: We are at the Boardwalk Wednesday and Thursday night. We have 2 counter, 2 sit down, and 2 snacks to use. They told me that we have to use the credits by end of day Friday.

However, we get ANOTHER dining plan with our AKL stay. I'm just confused about this. Will I be able to use, for example, a snack credit from my Boardwalk stay on Friday (after I check into the AKL)? I'm assuming I will have two different cards at that point??

Since your check out date from BWV is on Friday, you have until midnight (Friday) to use up your credits from BWV DP.

You CAN have your leftover credits from the first resort added to the KTTW card for your second resort, but we found it easier just to keep the old card for that transition day and use up the credits that way. That way you don't risk having a confused CM mess up your credits on the new card.

If that makes any sense.

It doesn't matter to the park turnstyle or to the restaurant CM that you have already checked out of the first resort- the credits are still good until midnight of the day you check out.
