Question for DVC veterans....

Sorry for the stupid questions.....

We just joined DVC club with Sarasota Springs and our use year is Dec.

* Does that mean that I get my annual points on Dec 1 every year or another date in Dec depending on when you bought into DVC?

Since Saratoga does not open until May, I am assuming that I get my 300 pts staring in May, then my next allotment of points is Dec 1, 2004

* Second question: I see that if I want to bank any points, for a Dec use year, I have to do so by May 31 for 100%. Does anyone know if that includes Saratoga newcomers whose points are not even available until May 2004?

Yes, you will get them Dec. 1 of that year, so your 2004 points will actually come at the end of that year.

Yes. If you bank those 2003 points, you will then have two years of points to use from Dec. 2004-Dec. 2005.

I would assume "yes", but not completely sure of that.

Yes, you will get them Dec. 1 of that year, so your 2004 points will actually come at the end of that year. Yes. If you bank those 2003 points, you will then have two years of points to use from Dec. 2004-Dec. 2005. I would assume "yes", but not completely sure of that.

Yes you get your points on Dec 1.

Yes you get your first points the Dec 1 for use after May 17 and then your 2004 points in Dec. And yes you lucky lady you get points in dec 2054 too (but you have to use them by the end of that year).

Yes this years points have to be banked by May 31, if you are banking more than 50 % of your points. If you think you will be banking less than 150 of your points you have until August 31 (I think). Its the percentage of your total points, not that you only get a percentage of the points you want to bank.

I thought that you got your points based on your use year? I know as an SSR owner we can begin making ressies on Dec 1.

Our use year is actually March - so I know we can bank 100% of our points as long as we do so by August 31 st.

My question is that I figured we had our points to use from March - Feb, and then get our new annual allotment next March. I guess I am confused but I was thinking that we have out points to use from May 2004 - Feb 2005, then get our new allotment in March 2005?

Do I have this wrong? Thanks for the help

Correct. Each year on March 1, you will receive your annual allotment of points. For a March use year, the 100% banking window is August 31.

Again, correct. Your first allotment of points will be good for stays between the opening of SSR and 2/29/2004. Your next allotment (March 1, 2004) will be good for stays between 3/1/2004 and 2/28/2005. And so on, until the end of the contract.
