I am trying to find out what Disney Cruise Line does when it comes to cancelled cruise that was booked via DVC Points ? All I read is about the credit you get if you re-book a future cruise when you paid in currency not DVC Points - thank you for info in advance

I was booked on the 6/22 Greek Isles cruise that was canceled today. I had used DVC points for one person on the reservation and cash for the other person. When I called to rebook, I was told the 125% rebooking deal applied to the entire reservation. So I received a 25% bonus on the points and a 25% bonus on the cash portion when I rebooked for next summer.

thank you for the information - we didn't want to take a chance and we moved our reservation to a May 2021 Transatlantic Cruise (no points bonus but no penalty and no re-booking fee)

My May 4th cruise was cancelled, so I Had my mom rebook us for a December Cruise (I’m using her dvc points so she had to do the booking). The December cruise is about 14 points more than what the May cruise originally was, however instead of giving us the 125% fcc the cast Member my mom spoke to on the phone had her pay the difference in points. Does that seem correct?
I thought we wouldn’t be using more points on the new cruise since we had 125% cruise credit. The 14 point difference is still less than what it would be with the cruise credit
Also, the cast member insisted we couldn't upgrade our room Category (originally an inside cabin) and had to stay in the same category as the original cruise.
