Question for couponers about this week's ads.

Ok so Walgreens and CVS both have Cover Girl buy one, get one 50% off. So how would I use that with the BOGO foundation/lip gloss coupon? I'm thinking the best deal would be to buy two foundations, one full price and one half price, and get two lip glosses free. Because if you bought one & one then your 50% off discount wouldn't matter, right? Dunno why this is hard for my brain today.

You threw me for a loop too...

I think the way it would work is that the foundations would ring up full price, the lip glosses would ring up half price, then the coupon would take the price of the lip gloss off...so I would buy one foundation and one lippy. Otherwise, you may pay full price for both foundations....which really add up unless you really need two foundations ASAP.

If the limit is transaction and you only have one BOGO coupon, pick 2 of the more expensive items. You will end up paying 50% of the cost of the first item and the second will be free.

Or you can choose whichever two items you want/need, and you will pay 50% of the higher priced one. It is a better deal if you get two items of the same value.
