Question for computer gurus!

This is not Dis related, but I'm posting here, because I know I always get nice, quick answers!

I am trying to make a screen cap of a part of a video. I paused the video clip on the picture that I want, and now I am trying to do a print screen, but I don't want it to actually print, I want to save it to my computer so I can manipulate it in PhotoShop.

Nothing happened when I hit the print screen button. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to do Shift, Print screen?

Shift-Print Screen is what you need to do.

I may be mistaken but <Shift><PrintScreen> copies the pic into the clipboard. You probably need to open the program you want to use the picture with and then paste the picture. I usually use this method to copy pics into Word or Excel or whatever program I am using.

Hmm.. Just tried it and it captures the Windows media player window but not the paused image.

There are players that have a screen capture function built in. I know Cyberlink PowerDVD player does.
