question for bankers and checking accounts

I wrote a check out to AT&T wireless last month for $149.10. Today I get my bill and they only credited my account $49.10. I have a copy of my canceled check and it is for $149.10.

AT&T wants a copy of the check to see if they made the mistake YA they did !!!

Who's fault is this ? Banks or AT&T's

Check your statement to see what amount the bank deducted from your account for the check.

If your AT&T account was credited for $49.10, and $149.10 was debited from your account, it appears to me that it was AT&T's mistake.
