Can anyone tell me the difference between a studio at VB, and a Deluxe Inn Room OCean view. I know what a studio is, but what is a deluxe Inn room? Thanks in advance.

is like a Hotel Room. DOn't think it has a fridge, (double check that), but it does have a very nice location in the main building, and close to everything.

I believe it's 2 doubles.

The Inn rooms do have a refrigerator - they have all the same amenities as the studios. The only difference is that the Inn rooms have two queen beds (or some have a king), but the studios have 1 queen bed and a sleep sofa.

If you reserve the Ocean view Inn room you will have a view of the ocean. That is not necessarily the case for the studios. Most of them have parital ocean views or a garden view.

None of the villa buildings are very far away - doubt it would take more than 3 or 4 minutes max to get from any building to the main building, the pool area or the beach.

Best wishes -

And the TV's in the inn rooms do have a VCR and you can get movies free from the store. I imagine the studio TV does as well, but don't know for sure.

Bobbi :D

The ocean view inn rooms are awesome. YES! They do have vcr's and you can check out movies from the store.

We did that several times last year.

Going to Vero for the first time. It's a small part of our "home". Just hubby and I. Should we do the ocean view inn room or do a 1 bedroom villa? Which would have the nicer views? We don't plan on doing any cooking as we will only be there 5 nights. Only need to be able to make coffee in the mornings and perhaps have breakfast in our room.

Opinions please.

Thanks to all who responded. I just booked (well took one night off my SSR vacation and added one night at Vero) We got the Deluxe Inn Ocean view, so hopefully our 2 daughters (7 and 5) will love it. Thanks again.

I have stayed both in an Inn room and a studio, and have found both are excellent. If you like a "hotel" type location, being able to walk to the lounge, shop, restaurants, etc., without leaving the building, then try the Inn. If you prefer feeling a "home away from home" then go for the studio. Better yet, try them both! :)

Keep in mind too when you book an Ocean View room that not all of those rooms are on the actual Ocean (East) side of the building. We booked two ocean view rooms last summer and they were both on the north side of the building. We could still see the ocean from our balcony if we went out onto it, but we could not see it from the actual room itself. We were on the 2nd floor, maybe on the 3rd or 4th floor you can see the ocean looking north.

Just something to keep in mind. I had heard this before and wasn't disapointed as knew it was a possibility. It was still nice to sit out on the balcony and see and hear the ocean.

QuiltTeddy - If I were going to VB with just my DH; I would try for the Ocean View Inn Rooms that have the King-sized bed. I'm not sure how many of these they have, but I've heard they are an option. I believe they have a sofa in the room and the kitchenette facility. I think having the ocean view and the one-bed/ sofa set up would be a great way to spend a few days. In fact I plan to do this myself when the kids are older and we won't feel so guilty about using DVC for just us!

There are a couple of irregular shaped ocean view inn rooms that are larger than the others. They have a wide corridor type area as you open up the room door, where you will find a closet, kitchenette and sofa. Then the main part of the room has the bed. The windows face out towards the sea, but the balconies are on the side (either facing another building or the pool). It has been a few years since we visited there, so my discription may be a little off.

QuiltTeddy-

I would suggest the one bedroom, but it is really what you think you would like. I like the idea of spreading out, having a living room, and even though you will only use the kitchen for coffee and breakfast in the room I just hate eating in a regular hotel room and like the dining area better. I have had many different views from the one bedroom from full ocean to garden and they have all been great. Like I said, it depends on what you want, but for me the one bedrooms at Vero can't be beat (except by the beach cottages!!!)

Thanks donald....really....for your input. I think we are changing our plans now though. Hubby really wants to to Kennedy Space Center, and since it will probably be warmer in-land that time of year, we are, I think, going to stay at BWV instead of Vero. Hubby figures that if it's chilly, we'll need to keep busy doing something during the day, other than beaching it.

We had an ocean view Inn room last year and it was GREAT!!!!! It was right over the green cabin room and we had the best view. We feel in love with the place. I think I like Inn rooms instead of studios.

We are hoping to go back again this May (same week) only 50 points for 5 nights (during the week) you can't beat that. We haven't booked yet because since we are borrowing we can't get the points back, I keep calling to make sure there is rooms still avilable. I should just bit the bullet and do it!

We stayed at Vero for this first time this past December. We opted for the ocean view inn room since we were only staying one night (it was before our cruise). It was wonderful! We had a beautiful view from our 3rd floor room looking straight out at the ocean.

I wanted to say thank-you as well. I had this very same question for a 2-3 night trip without the kids :Pinkbounc I think wwe will go with the OV Inn room. Very much looking forward to visiting Vero Beach!!
