I have a woods view with bunks booked for our upcoming trip. I was wondering if they ever give upgrades to those who book rooms with bunks. I was thinking that there isn't much they can give in way of an upgrade. Just wondering what others have experienced.

I would think the only upgrade that would be available would be a courtyard view with bunk beds. I would assume that occasionally they over book the woods view bunk category and they move a few of them up to the courtyard view bunk category (provided there is room in that category). I doubt that you would get upgraded to a regular courtyard room (with two queens), at least not without them asking if it's OK.

That happened to us a couple of years ago. When we first booked the WL, we wanted a woods view with bunkbeds. When we went to check in, we were upgrated to a courtyard view with bunkbeds. We were never told why we were upgraded, but was just told that we were....we didn't care since the only thing we really cared for was the bunkbed room. The room was gorgeous and it was on the 1st floor so it was nice to just step outside on our patio and just listen to either the music or watch the walkers go by.

We booked a standard room with bunk beds in 2004 and were upgraded to a courtyard view bunk bed room, which I liked. :)

We booked Woods view w/bunk beds and that is what we got.
My boys were more concerned about the bunk beds than the view.

At AKL we booked pool view (is that the right term) w/ bunk beds and were upgraded to savanna view w/ bunk beds. That was a nice treat.
