Know how there was/is a promo for a free ticket on your birthday? Well on the thing I printed out, there was an offer, I'm not too good with French but I'm guessing it's an annual pass for €45??? Can anyone give me any more info on this please? Anyone know the in's and outs?

Thanks x

Which offer ? The Gratuit pour votre Anniversaire one that I did for you ?

If it's that one where are you looking on the pdf as I'm not seeing 45€ anywhere on there :confused3

It's the yellow/orange box with mickey in it. Here's what the main part says:

Offre speciale pour vous
Avec ce billet, obtenez un
Passeport
Annuel francilien
20e anniversaire
Pour 45€ seulement
Au lieu de 119€
Rendez-vous qu bureau passeport annual le jour de votre visite

Wow :cool1: We don't have the same tickets at all ! No yellow/orange box on mine with that offer - I just have 20% off a choice of 3 restaurants :confused3

So yes if you take the ticket with your passport (as they need photo id)to one of the AP passport offices on the day of your visit you can buy a AP Francilien for 45€

The Francilien has a lot of blackout days and can't be used the 2nd or 3rd day after activation but as you are there on park tickets that won't bother you.

You've got the list of discounts and blackout days on the DLRP Magic site

Definitely not :confused3

But after reading something elsewhere I think I now why.

I got my ticket on the 2nd of April right at the start of the offer, people who have got them later are saying like DDwife that they are getting the AP offer so it appears to have been added on as an extra ....

The Francilien is too restrictive for us as we need the parking, too many blackouts and I like to be able to go when I like even if it's just for an hour or so ;)

I'm not sure if it's any good to me really, as I'm already a shareholder and get better benefits with that really. Unless I'm missing out a really good deal?? We are going in March aswell, but it's already been paid for. I will be going maybe once after that before that year is up but I usually tend to book hotels when an offer already is on,so I wont be able to make use of the AP discount, would I??

You'd get 10% off all c/s food and drinks that you don't get with your shareholders discount (except in EoS) but that's about it

I don't know how you eat at DLP but it would be fairly easy to work out if you'd get your 45€ worth in discounts in the year if you were doing 2 or 3 trips :)

Oh I didn't know that I wouldn't get shareholder discount at cs. That's what i am planning on doing in November and March, was mostly eat at cs.

Think I will just get it anyway, for 45€ its a fab price. And might be able to sneak in a cheap day or 2 if I have that.

Thanks. :flower3:

Has any one got a link for this? We are going in September and need to buy tickets for four days this would be much better for us

You can have 1 free ticket for a visit on your birthday or on one day in the week following your birthday by filling out the following

http://www.gratuitpourvotreanniversaire.fr/?utm_source=dlp-l&utm_medium=push&utm_campaign=foyb

It gives you a coupon so that you can get an Francilien AP for 45€ but the AP can't be used on the 2nd or 3rd day after activation

If you are going for 4 days you'd still need a ticket for at least 1 day depending on when your birthday is and you'd have to check the black out dates as the Francilien has a far few :)

Yep that's why we aren't shareholders as we rarely eat at ts/buffets and the AP gives us 10% off them anyway.

The only main difference is regarding discount for souvenirs (you get less with an AP) which we don't really buy and salon Mickey :goodvibes

Awesome! It seems to me that the Francilien AP is the cheapest way to see DLP for 2 or more days. Does the price include VAT? We're planning to be at DLP for my DD's 13th birthday. So, we can get her a Francilien AP on her birthday on Aug 17th for 45€ (119€ for us) and then we can return to DLP to use it again on Aug 20th and later, right? We don't mind not being there for contiguous days and have no plans to stay at Disney resorts because they are just too expensive! We stayed at the Sequoia Lodge through DVC the last time we were there. It was nice but not nice enough to spend hundreds of US $ per night on it.

Have a few questions - How many people are going as well as your DD and how many days/what dates after the 20th will you be going into the park for ?

:)

^^^ I'm intrigued!

Wouldn't work for you you I'm afraid as what I'm looking at are summer only (AP) and normal offers :goodvibes

Carrie, I am so sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! I did not even see your reply until today. There will be 2 adults and 1 child who will be turning 13 on our trip. We arrive in Europe (Amsterdam or Paris, not sure which right now) on August 13th and my DD's birthday is August 17th. Our 20th wedding anniversary is on August 23rd and sadly my DH wants to be as far away from a Disney park as possible :duck:. In his defense he has spent many anniversaries at Walt Disney World. We leave CDG on August 25th (or maybe August 27th). If we get the AP we will probably go on August 17 and again on the 20th or 21st. I think we will be traveling on the 22nd.

Ok I just answered on your other thread re the cheapest 2 day/2 park tickets

For this one - If you get the Francilien AP at 45€ from the birthday ticket say on the 17th, you and our OH can buy a Francilien ticket for 53€ each from the Fnac

If you then wait the 2 days (18th-19th of August) and go back on the 3rd day (20th) your DD is free with her AP and she can get you 20€ tickets on the gate as part of the summer specials open to AP holders.

Until mid September an AP holder is allowed to get 5 tickets a week for 20€ each for friends but the people have to all go together to the ticket counters.

The AP holder shows their AP and that's it, tickets get bought

See thread vv

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2938182

So all in it could cost you 45€ (for the AP) + 2*53€ (for you and DH tickets) and on your 2nd visit 2*20€ (for you and DH)

Plus you'd have the AP for discount on food and souvenirs :thumbsup2

I am a tried and true WDW veteran but am planning my first DLP with 3 grandchildren (14,13,12) in the first week of November

The cheapest tickets I have been able to find so far are about 55 Euro (43 Pound) for one day/ two park. We plan on being there for 2 days

I do not understand the above post of an AP for 45 Euro Is this available to all? How do I get it? Is it a closed audience offer? Any information about this or any other way to get cheap tickets would be appreciated
