Were you at work and trying to access them? Your work (school, etc) might have up a fire wall so you can't access those pages, but most firewalls will give you a message telling you that access is denied.

yes I've rebooted, and no I'm not at work...I'm at home, and as far as I know I don't have any firewalls.

Any other ideas?

There could be a network outage somewhere in your area that just allows you to not reach certain areas. I'm sure it will go away, try again tommorrow...
