Question for 17/18yo girls about your guy friends...

Girls: If you are 17 or 18, do you have male friends (the kind you chat on the phone with, not necessarily a boyfriend) who are 3 or more years younger than you? (Or did you, when you were 17 or 18?)

Most of my guy friends are either my age, 1 or 2 years older than me, or 1 or 2 years younger than me.
Yeah, I did have some freshman guy friends this past year when I was a senior, but I didnt really like talk/hang out with them that much.

I wouldn't really have a problem with just having friends with guys that younger than me. But for boyfriends? No. As a teenager, 3 years age different is like a lifetime. Obviously it doesnt feel that way later on in life (my parents are 3 years apart) but for 17/18 year old girls who are let's just say seniors in highschool, a senior girl dating a freshman boy? yeah, doesnt happen that often.

I'm 17. I have alot of guy friends. My best friend is a guy.
They are all generally my age though.

I don't think I'd have a problem with having a guy friend younger than me-IF he was mellow & mature and stuff.
I used to have alot of younger guy friends, but that was when I was much younger-and because they were boys from around my (old) neighbourhood.

Younger boys do tend to be less mature (and I'm not blaming them or anything, I mean-they're allowed to be, young girls are immature too)
but 2-3 years isn't that bad-because those boys would be in high school as well.
