Question-Chef Mickeys

[Mickey's*Chickey]

I have a Question about Chef Mickey's. We will be going with my sister and her son. My dd is 13 and her ds is 12, will they enjoy Chef Mickey's or will it be a waste of money. Another factor is that dd 13 can be a bit of a picky eater at times, so do they have a lot of choices? If you have any advice or info id be happy to take it!

Do they like mickey and the gang and do they like meeting characters? Some teenage girls love to play with the characters. If they don't like em, it probably wouldn't be worth it. But if they seem open to it, I think it would be fun unless they're in the OMG!! I have to look cool in front of those boys who I'll never meet stage? There are usually two veggies, ham and beef, usually a pasta, some salads, a fish, ravioli's mac n cheese pizza, chicken fingers and all the kids stuff, plus a salad bar. Unless your picky eater wants gourmet every time out, I think she'll find something OK. By the way, tomorrow this may be moved to the restaurants board so keep a look out.

My kids, who all thought they were Too Cool for WDW at that age, liked it. The "cool" thing wears off in about a day at WDW. The younger ones still like to go there and see Mickey.

Everyone I ever go with wants to go to CMs. I can't stand it. It is crowded and the character are so rushed. The food is OK (and usually warm), and there is a decent selection. Breakfast is the better meal there, IMHO. There are also less cranky kids at breakfast.
