Question - Animal Kingdom to Hoop Dee Doo?

I posted this on the transportation board, but I thought you Fort Wilderness fans may be able to help.

Does this sound right? When travelling from Animal Kingdom park to the Hoop Dee Doo Dinner Show, we would take a bus to Fort Wilderness. We would be dropped off at the Outpost Depot. Once there, transfer to another bus to the Settlement Depot.

Does that sound right? Which bus should we take to the Settlement Depot (i.e. purple, orange or yellow)? Thanks for any info!!

You might also consider taking a bus to the Contemporary, then taking the resort shuttle boat across to Fort Wilderness. The boat ride is fun and the dock is right at the HDR.

Or take a bus from Your resort to Magic Kingdom and a boat from there to Fort Wilderness. the dock is right by Hoop Dee Doo.

We just did this. Took a bus from AK straight to Fort Wilderness. We literally pulled up to the bus stop, got off and immediately got on an internal bus to the outpost. Great timing and easy as pie. (We were just escorting my mom and dad there and actually did not do Hoop de Doo, just toured Fort Wilderness and went on to do other things.). My mom and dad who did do Hoop de Doo said that on the return they then took the boat to MK and then a bus back to the resort BUT the timing was not so great on this route. After Hoop de Doo the boat ride to MK gets you there exactly as the firework crowd is exiting the parks so for the return trip to your resort keep that in mind.
