Question - Adding a Day and FastPass+

Thanks for the detailed explanation Robo. I sure didn't realize they were treated differently. Once you used a day on them I thought they were all treated the same.

It sounds like you'd have an advantage, in that case, if you bought from a discounted third-party vendor (as long as they continue to follow this practice under the new ticketing structure).
Disney knows how much you paid if you bought the ticket from them. They don't know how much you paid if it was part of a package or from a third party. They only "bridge" when they don't know how much you paid for the ticket.

That's the deal.

Thanks Robo, supersnoop and everyone. I guess I should have went with an authorized reseller (for the discount) even though at the time we only needed 2 days. :headache: So now we want to add a third day to the beginning of our trip. That won't goof up the FPs we already have will it? So for clarity, we arrive on the 13th, and were planning on the parks only on the 16th and 17th (FPs already reserved). Now we want to add a park day to the 15th. I know I can't get FPs for that day until we arrive and add the day. This is my first time adding days, it's an unusual trip for us!

It won't affect your pre-booked FPs.
They'll remain intact.
