Question about Yachtsman

I have a 5:30 PM reservation at Yachtsman on 12/2. Is there a chance that this will take more than an hour and a half to finish? We were wanting to make it back to Osborne Lights before the park closes at 8 pm. I'm trying to perfect my plans, but with free dining it's hard to do any rearranging now.

If you're not ordering appys I think you'll be fine getting out by 7:00. Just let your sever know when you're ordering dessert to leave the check right away. You could always mention it when you sit down, but I think you'll be OK with an hour & a half.

If you're in a hurry, I'd just walk quickly over to the studios. It is a 15 minute walk. Not bad at all. Enjoy Yachtsman--we love it!

If you don't really linger, you should be fine. DH & I went to a nice steak place last night and even with 3 courses, we were out of there in 90 minutes.

We ate at Yachtsman's a couple of weeks ago and we were there a good 2 hours. We were on the DxDDP so it may be because of all the food that we were given, however, our server was very slow. He allowed us to really enjoy our meal and did not rush us one bit. Our family didn't mind because we had nowhere to be afterwards, but it was long....and very very good too

With no apps, you should be fine. Also, when you get done, consider walking over to the Studios from the Yacht Club. My DH and I stay there and we've beat the water taxi numerous times.

i guess it depends on your server, but we just ate there on thursday and the service was VERY slow. so slow in fact, that the manager came over and comped our entire table. the dirty dishes sat on our table for over 40 minutes before being cleared by someone that wasn't even our server. we were there for over 3 hours, and we didn't even get dessert because we didn't want to wait that long. the steak was good, but it wasn't worth that long of a wait. oh, and my salad was gross. the proscuitto tasted like it went bad, and the dressing was VERY sour.
