Question about Xbox 360

Does it play old Xbox games or only 360? I keep getting an offer to trade it in but I want to keep my games. Thanks.

There are many regular Xbox games that will work on the 360 (backwards compatible) but not all. I believe there is a list of games that will work on ign.com.
