Question about WWoS

My nephew may have a tournament in Orlando this summer at Wide World of Sports.

We will not be staying on site at WDW, so we will be driving to the games.

Does anyone know what the cost, if any, is to park at WWoS? Probably the Field House.

Also will my AP cover parking?

They don't charge to park at WWoS.

No charge for parking but if you don't have the AP which includes the WWoS they do charge entrance fees and it's not cheap. We went to watch a meet and while DS & I had PAP, DD did not and we had to pay for her to go in. Way overpriced for what we were doing - one day.

Holy crap!

We are coming out for the AAU Nationals. Tournament is Thurs-Wed. We are only planning to attend Sat-Wed (assuming They make it to the playoffs Tuesday and Wednesday). Thur-Sun only have 1 game a day. Hopefully they will have an event pass. If not some parents will not be able to afford it.

I only have a regular annual pass.

We're use to up to $10 a day so I guess it's not crazy, but that's a lot of days especially for one game.

I know. As I stood in line and watched families handing over so much money I was so glad DS and I were covered and I only had to pay for DD. I would think that through each tournament that lasts more than one day on that property they would offer a discount multi-day pass, I just don't know.

I just felt bad for those that showed up having no idea what this was costing, I know I was shocked. I thought maybe $5, we were only spectating, not actually "having fun." We were actually watching my other DS coach his team. There was literally nothing happening for us to do other than spend money on food - which did not happen with what I paid to get in.

My nieces play long tournaments and we have attended BUT most their games are scattered around Disney on private fields (no fee to watch) and then they get on game on WWoS property guaranteed.
