Question about WISHES?

My last trip to WDW was in July of 2004, and we are planning to go back this upcomming March. My question is: I was looking around the Disney website when I came across the WISHES nighttime spectacular and it said 'new' in the description. Being that I was there in 2004, I remember seeing some type of night time fireworks display where the castle changes colors, fireworks light up the sky above the castle and tinkerbelle would fly. Forgive me for being so clueless but was that WISHES or was it just their every evening fireworks event?

Yes it was Wishes you saw. Disney seems to use the word new for a long time on many of its attractions and shows.
