I have only recently realized this is an option. Howver, I am very excited about the idea. Can someone tell me some specifics, or where I can find the information. My searches did not yield much...I am interested in the price. I am also wondering about the interaction of the boat driver. Is he there to entertain, or do they play off the situation? In other words, is this a romantic cruise or fun for the whole family, or both? Thanks for any help you offer. Clearly, I am clueless.
Have a great day.

We went on a Wishes Cruise on Easter and it was $150 for the 5 of us. It was worth every penny and I'm not rich, I had to save up for that (my parents took us on the trip, this was my gift back to them and to my kids). Our captain was a 19 yr old college student named Erin. She was wonderful. I got the impression she would let us set the tone as far as how much she would talk to us or give us privacy. We chatted with her, she had lots of info. She was very sweet. I was awe-struck and teary eyed at seeing Wishes on the boat with my family and watching their faces light up as much as the fireworks themselves did. I got all misty when I was paying my bill and tipping her and she hugged me and said being around sweet children like mine makes her want to have her own...someday...(not soon). I think probably different captains are different, but I got the impression that they kind of let you take the lead on how much they interact with you. Hope that helps. I'm sooo glad that the Illumination cruises were booked and I settled for this one, it's a forever memory moment.

We also loved our wishes cruise and had a college student captain. She was wonderful and had a great time chatting with us and our teenage daughters about the college program and such. She never said a word during wishes(oops we saw the one before wishes came out) which was wonderful from the boat. We could see and hear it all. She cruised us around Bay Lake which was beautiful at night with the stars shining and we went around 7 seas lagoon before and after the fireworks, taking us close to the hotels and talking about them. Afterward she hugged our daughters and refused our tip saying she had a wonderful time too. I told her I knew she didn't make much on the college program and it was our pleasure to tip her. It took a little talking, but she finally excepted graciously. I would highly recommend this trip. We rarely do these kind of extra things, but this one, for DH's birthday was worth it.
