Well its that time again my annual Boys trip to WDW with my 2 DSs (11 and 9) :cool1:

We want to stay at the Wilderness Lodge this time, but I want to know if anyone has stayed in one of the Bunk Bed rooms. (My boys share a bunk bed at home, so i think this would be nice).

If so, are they nice and are they the same size as a 2 queen bed room? Also, do all rooms have balconies?

I figured better to ask in advance before booking.

Also are there any room views I should request?

Thanks A Ton in advance for any help you can give.

Nathan

We have stayed in a bunkbed room every trip. They are the same size as the rooms with 2 queens. I think the bunk beds give you a little extra room. All the rooms have balconies. The balconies on the 6th floor are a little closed in though. We like the woods view rooms and if you are lucky to get the upper floors on the north side of the building, you sometimes get a view of MK - although it is somewhat obstructed by the trees. You can also get a courtyard view that would look at the lake or pool.

We stayed in a WL bunk room on the first floor facing the pool. We had a small patio where the ducks would walk up to our window. I think the bunk rooms do give you a little more room to move around the beds.

The only issue we had was our older child was always so tired when we got back she could hardly climb up the ladder. She was too heavy to lift up there so we did our best.
