Question about when you sign in at the event

Going to the Pin Event and someone has sponsored me. What do I need 'credential' wise? My name is listed as the "Event Attendee"..do I just go up, show my photo ID and give my name? Or do I need something else?
As for my son, I guess they just believe he is who I say since he doesn't have photo ID?

Good Question since your name really isn't on the file. I'd take all the paperwork you have since a photo ID isn't going to help.

Maybe I didnt explain it right....I get so easily confused. Here are the details.

PinTrader Tarzan can't go but wanted to. So Tarzan is paying the event fee for me and I am attending the event. Tarzan registered with my name.
So the RSP that Tarzan sent into Disney has my name on it, just that Tarzan used his credit card to pay for the pins he is getting.


Last year I went as myself, paid for myself, but I can't remember if had to give them any info at RSP pick up/event check in other than my name and ID.

Since your name is on the registration (and a good thing it is), all you have to do is show up and show your ID, and they will give you the merchandise, gifts, badges, etc. Since your son is under 16, he does not require separate ID.

<b>For future reference:</b> No matter who pays for what, the person who walks up to pick up the merchandise <b>must</b> be the person who is on the registration, and has ID to prove it. The only exception is for a child under 16 -- the name still has to be right, but they use the parent to ID the child.

We are both going to the event. DH Milton is being sponsored by his nephew. DH is the event attendee, but nephew paid for the merchandise with his credit card. Nephew had to complete a PROXY statement and send it to disney.

Here is part of it:

"By signing this Proxy, I, ___________, hereby authorize ____________to attend, in my stead, Disney's A Family Pin Gathering to be held at Epcot at Walt Disney World....................................................................................etc.

In condiseration of Disney permitting the Designee to take my place at the Event, I hereby release Disney, its parent, related, affiliated and subsidiary companies and the directors, officers, employees............against any and all damages..............................................etc. etc. etc.
