i know they havnt posted the hours for may yet but.... i was just looking and for the last week of april the hours are DL 10-8 and DCA 10-6... what does this mean... i'm guessing lower crowds..but does this mean there wont be any nighttime parades or fireworks?? would they still be done on the weekends?? Any idea what times they would have those things if they still had them?? Thanks for any info!

i think the new celebrate today parade in DL will be at 3:30pm and 6:30pm (or around that time) during the weeknights...more than likely no fireworks. DCA may still have the pixar play parade at 5:15pm. if they did have fireworks during the weekend, i would think it would be at it's typical time (9:25pm)...

Short hours =
-smaller crowds
-"lower season" -> more rides will be down for refurb
-no Fantasmic, fireworks during the week

However, fireworks are usually shown on the weekends (9:25 as PP stated) when the hours are 8AM-12AM on Saturdays. Not sure what you mean by nighttime parades, as the Electrical parade (the only realy nighttime parade) at DCA only runs during summer/Christmas times.

an is the weekend of nov 29-dec4th consedered short hours..(Lol youd think id have notes from this some where )

In the spring, some of those shorter hours might mean grad nites.

Sundays are always considered weekends. So they have fireworks and Fantasmic. :thumbsup2

We're going to be there the last week of April. I'm happy about the shortened hours because that equals minimal crowds! :goodvibes There is going to be one showing of Celebrate Street Party parade that week and it's at 7pm. Fantasmic is down for refurb during that time (but probably wouldn't be showing even if it was up).

We went during the weekdays in the first week of December and there was 1 showing of the parade, no Fantasmic and the fireworks showed 15 minutes before park closing which was at 8pm. And the park opened at 9am.
