Question about warnings and bannings on VMK

My DD (10) was in a guest room yesterday hanging out with some people on her friend list. Someone came in pretending he was a dog claiming he was lost and needed to find his way back home. DD asked, "Where do you live?". She meant where did he live in VMK. About 10 minutes later she received a warning from VMK telling her that she can't ask players aobut their age or location, etc. It stated that if she did this again, she would be banned.

Now my DD is very upset because she really wasn't asking this person where he lived in "real life", but got in trouble anyway. DId someone report her or is there some sort of filter that immediately alerts the staff if your character says , "Where do you live?"? Her words were taken out of context. I'm thinking someone who didn't know her in the room just saw her ask that and was unaware that she was just playing along with the other player and he/she reported her.

Sorry to be so long. DD is still pretty sad about this and I'm trying to figure out exactly what happened. Thanks.

There is a filter for sure, the staff was alerted and probably did not check the log before sending the warning. She knows now to be careful so consider it a lesson learned

yes there is a filter and an automatic response. i have gotten those responses alot myself even if i asked nothing of the person and they asked me so just be careful and you will be all good
