Question about VMK problems

Im over my friends house and she has a Windows-98 computer. For once her INTERNET works, and im posting from it fine. When we click PLAY NOW at VMK.com, it says the page cannot be displayed. Does anyone know by any chance why that says that? I installed Shockwave im sure.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. ~ Mikey

Windows 98........... When I tried it with vmk it wouldn't work no matter what. VMK I doubt was made to run on 98.

aww. I really wanted it to work on here so she could play because she BARELY gets to go on as it is. Arg.

Yea 98 can't hold anything above RCT2 which isn't as 3d as vmk. And seeing how vmk is online multiplayer 98 when made just wasn't made for that. And if it did run the lag would be far worse than anything we've seen maybe an hour long freeze then a 30 minute catch up. Then repeated.

Nothing is made to run on 98 any longer. even Win2k has issues with VMK, the version of Shockwave you need to run VMK is not compatible with Win98 computers.

Oh Ok. Thanks for the answerr :] Could you tell me what is the lowest series a computer could run on for VMK?

Or at least a decent computer with no lag. Or does it depend on the internet hook up you have?

Both I believe but not the computer model I would say like Windows XP which I have and my computer moves fast and is virtually lag free. But most new computers or mine a Dell include XP already.
