Question about Vera Bradley Birthday card

I recieved a card from Vera Bradley for $20 off of $20 or more for my birthday. In the body of the card, is says" Receive $20 toward your purchase of $20 or more* by redeeming on verabradley.com during the month of January."

On the back in the small print by the * is says it can also be used in stores. Has anyone done this? I'm leaving for WDW next week and could save shipping and get something to use in the parks if I wait and use it in the outlet there. I'm just a little confused by the wording in the body of the card, stating to use it online.

Help me understand!

I used the one I got for my birthday in the store last year (same wording as yours) and it wasn't a problem at all! My only problem was trying to decide what to get!

You might want to call Vera Bradley and make sure it can be used in one of their Outlet stores. Vera Bradley has some odd rules sometimes...

I used my birthday coupon at an outlet store too. They also let me stack my birthday coupon with a 25% off one item coupon. I was a happy shopper that day.

I actually gave all my info at the outlet last year, including my birthday. Since it was so close to my birthday at the time, they hand wrote a card from the outlet and sent it to me. Our Vera Store wasn't open yet so they let me use the card over the phone at the Orlando outlet and mailed me my order. The people there are wonderful!

Not sure if this will get me the birthday card but I just registered on-line at the site and there was a place to enter my birthday month and day. I thought I was already registered since I get emails from Vera Bradley but apparently not.

I also ordered online in the past and never got a card, but went to the outlet store in Orlando this past August and gave my info. That's how I got the card I think.

My sister used hers at the Limerick, PA outlet today. The store was an additional 25% off, plus she could stack her 25% AAA discount with the coupon. She got a $54 clutch and an apron for $4 after her birthday coupon.

Yup! I used one I received for my last birthday at an Outlet Vera Bradley store, which already had their products on sale...and then also a 20% off coupon the outlets offered!

If you show your AAA card at guest services (located inside the food court) you'll get a coupon book that has coupons for many stores including Vera Bradley. If you don't have a AAA card I think the book is $5. Anyway, inside this book is a coupon for 25% off. That being said when we were at the outlets at Limerick back in August I made two seperate purchases at the VB Outlet. My first purchase I used my birthday coupon and the 25% off coupon. My second purchase I couldn't use my 25% off coupon again but I showed my AAA card and got an additional discount. I honestly can't remember how much the discount was but I am thinking 15%. I think I still have my receipts, so I'll have to check.

I hope this makes sense as it is late and I'm tired.
